First session of the Festival commission Envirofilm 2007

Banská Bystrica 5 February (SEA) - : State Secretary, Ministry of Environment, SR Ing. Jaroslav Jaduš sitting as festival director had opened the first session of the 13. year of Envirofilm 2007 on thursday the 1 February 2007 in Slovak environmental agency Banska Bystrica. Proceedings began by nomination of members of the festival commission. Out of the festival director `s hands were taken the nomination letters by representatives of enunciator, organizators and cooperative organizations of festival. All participants supported the main festival theme – Natural and landscape protection, and taken cognisance of information of current state of festival preparation. The creation of the festival programme were refilled by new subjects and plans for creation and improvement. The next session of the festival commission will be in a month. Till that time the film registration for the international competition will be finished and main part will be the preparation of all film, as well as accompanying events, which are related to the festival.

Organizators prepare rich programme on actual environmental themes, which are interesting for the public. Big emphasis is layed on the youngest generation, for which it has been prepared many inspiring creative programmes. One of them is possible to participate in now – and it is the international creative and photography competition Green world including the competition of children `s animated cartoon.
