The contest is held annually since 1996 on the occasion of the Environmental Film Festival ENVIROFILM. It has become the festival’s inherent part and one of the nicest events organised during it.
Cooperation and patronage
Green World has been organised by the Slovak Environmental Agency in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Slovakia and under the patronage of the Slovak Commission for UNESCO and the European Environment Agency.
Objective of the contest
To instil love for nature and the environment into children by creation of habits and skills in their artistic self-expression. Works should have a creative and motivating character presenting children's attitude to life and nature.
