Father Nature became an inherent part of the GREEN WORLD contest that is held within the ENVIROFILM festival since its second year already.
As the mascot of ENVIROFILM he participates also in the awarding ceremony, assists in the programme and, of course, has been posing for pictures with successful young artists.
Mime Miro Kasprzyk
Miro Kasprzyk is one of the best Slovak mimes. He was born in Liptovský Mikuláš on 30th October 1962 and grew up in the Liptov region in the town of Liptovský Mikuláš.
He studied at the School of Education in the Czech Republic. After completing the studies he returned back to Slovakia and besides various jobs he dedicates himself, from the age of twenty, to amateur theatre and pantomime. In 1986, he completed at the Friedrich Schiller Universität in Jena (Germany) the course: Spezialkurs vom Pantomime – Theater under the guidance of the mime Haraldt Seime.
His original motion expression and improvisation are indelibly recorded in the history of Slovak pantomime and spread his reputation abroad. He performs all over Europe and overseas - Sicily, Denmark, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Mexico '98, Poland…
In addition to his own performances Miro is working on art openings, as well as on a variety of television, multimedia and film projects.
He has produced several performances with disabled children in Liptovský Hrádok and is one of the few mimes in Slovakia working with young people. He has his own mime studio, teaches in various workshops and is the founder of the only Slovak amateur mime and movement festival in Liptovský Mikuláš.
